Prof. Sanjeev Prashar

Director-In-Charge, IIM Raipur

Prof. Sanjeev Prashar is a Professor in the area of Marketing at the Indian Institute of Management Raipur. He has over 34 years of academic experience in teaching, corporate training, and consulting, and has served as Dean–Academics at IIM Raipur (2018–2022). He has authored 150 research papers in reputed international journals and 70 case studies, some of which are available with Harvard Business Publishing, Ivey Publishing, and Emerald. His research focuses on shopping behaviour, including impulse buying, online buying, and celebrity endorsement. With more than 13,000 hours of training and consulting experience, he has worked with leading corporates, government institutions, and startups across India and abroad.

Prof. Sumeet Gupta

Professor, Information Systems, IIM Raipur

Prof. Sumeet Gupta is a Professor in the Department of Information Technology and Systems at IIM Raipur. He holds a PhD in Information Systems and an MBA from the National University of Singapore, and a BE in Mining from GEC Raipur. With 18 years of experience across industry, teaching, and research, he has worked with organizations including L&T India, The Logistics Institute–Asia Pacific (Singapore), and SSGI Bhilai. He has published over 100 research papers in leading international journals and conferences, and has edited two books in Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain. His research interests span Electronic Governance, E-Commerce, and Business Analytics, and he has led consultancy and training projects with government and private organizations in India and abroad.

Prof. Satyasiba Das

Dean (External Relations), IIM Raipur

Prof. Satyasiba Das is a Professor in Strategic Management and Information Systems at IIM Raipur, where he also serves as Dean (External Relations). He holds a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship from the National University of Ireland, Galway, a PhD and M.Phil. from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, and an MBA from Hult International Business School, Boston. His research spans strategic management, innovation, entrepreneurship, and information systems, with numerous publications in reputed international journals, books, and Ivey cases. Prof. Das has presented his work at leading global conferences including AOM, EURAM, and SMS, and his book on Corporate Social Responsibility was published by Bloomsbury. Alongside his academic contributions, he has actively engaged in consultancy, training, and collaborative research with international partners.

Prof. Manojit Chattopadhyay

Professor, Information Systems, IIM Raipur

Prof. Manojit Chattopadhyay is a Professor in the Information Systems area at IIM Raipur and currently serves as Chairperson of the Information Systems area. He holds a PhD in Business Management from the University of Calcutta and brings nearly two decades of experience in industry, teaching, and research. His research interests include AI-based models in business decision-making, strategic information visualization, data privacy, policy mining, visual clustering, and social network analysis. He has published over 50 research papers in reputed international journals such as the Journal of Travel Research, Annals of Tourism Research, Journal of Sustainable Tourism, Energy Policy, and Applied Soft Computing. Prof. Chattopadhyay has guided several doctoral and master’s candidates, presented at numerous international conferences, and has also held key academic leadership roles at IIM Raipur, including Chairperson of Research and Publications and Chairperson of IT.

Prof. Pranith Kumar Roy

Assistant Professor, Finance & Accounts, IIM Raipur

Prof. Pranith Kumar Roy is a faculty member in the Finance and Accounts area at IIM Raipur. He holds a PhD in Finance from IIT(ISM) Dhanbad and an M.Tech. from IIT Delhi, with his doctoral research focusing on multi-criteria credit scoring models for SMEs. A Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) by GARP, USA, he has published extensively in reputed journals such as the International Journal of Finance and Economics, Applied Economics, Annals of Operations Research, and Environment, Development and Sustainability. Before joining IIM Raipur, Prof. Roy served as Chief Manager in a PSU Bank, managing corporate credit portfolios exceeding ₹1 billion and leading risk management, treasury, and business process initiatives. He also trained senior bank officers at the Zonal Training Centre, Kolkata. At IIM Raipur, he has held multiple administrative roles including Associate Editor & Admin-in-Charge of Case House (CHIRP) and Chairperson of the Internal Audit Committee, alongside teaching courses in Corporate Finance, Financial Risk Management, and Banking Management with consistently excellent feedback.

Prof. Gopal Kumar

Associate Professor, Operations & Qty Tech, IIM Raipur

Prof. Gopal Kumar is an Associate Professor of Operations Management at IIM Raipur. He earned his Ph.D. and M.Tech. in Industrial Engineering & Management from IIT Kharagpur, and pursued postdoctoral research at Dublin City University, Ireland. With industry experience in process improvement and ERP development, he has collaborated with European SMEs and the University of Edinburgh to develop predictive modelling tools for productivity enhancement. His research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, and he has presented at globally recognized operations and supply chain forums. His areas of expertise include supply chain collaboration, sustainable and green supply chains, product-service systems, big data analytics, and business process automation. At IIM Raipur, he teaches a wide range of courses including Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, Logistics Management, Quality Management, and Data Analytics using R and Python.

Prof. Archana Parashar

Associate Professor, Humanities & Liberal Arts, IIM Raipur

Prof. Archana Parashar is an Associate Professor at IIM Raipur, where she has been a faculty member since 2014. A gold medalist in M.A. (English Literature) and topper in M.Phil., she earned her Ph.D. in American Fiction. She has over 14 years of experience in teaching and corporate training and was earlier associated with SGSITS, Indore. Prof. Parashar has been a visiting faculty at leading IIMs including Calcutta, Lucknow, Kozhikode, Shillong, and Nagpur. Her research interests span Business Communication, Written Analysis & Communication, ELT, Postcolonial Writings, and Ecocritical Narratives, with publications in reputed international journals such as Springer, Sage, and Emerald. She teaches a wide range of communication courses at IIM Raipur and has delivered training sessions for organizations such as MECON, FSNL, NTPC, Vedanta, IITDM Jabalpur, CET Bhubaneswar, and Chhattisgarh Academy of Administration.

Assistant Professor, Economics & Public Policy, IIM Raipur

Prof. Rashmi Shukla is an Assistant Professor in the area of Economics & Public Policy at IIM Raipur. She holds an FPM from IIM Indore, an MBA from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, and a B.E. from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. Her research focuses on corporate savings, economic crises, public–private partnerships, and policy response, with publications in reputed journals and multiple international conference presentations. She has authored and co-authored case studies published by Ivey Publishing and other platforms. Prof. Shukla is a member of professional bodies including the Western Economic Association International and The Indian Econometric Society (TIES).

Prof. Munmun Goswami

Assistant Professor, HRM & OB, IIM Raipur

Prof. Munmun Goswami is an Assistant Professor in HRM & OB at the Indian Institute of Management Raipur. She holds an FPM in HRM from XLRI Jamshedpur and is an alumna of IIM Ahmedabad, with a B.E. in Electronics and Communication. Her expertise spans corporate HR, industrial relations, performance management, change management, compensation and benefits, and HR process improvements. With nearly a decade of industry experience at Air India, BTMU, and Gilpin, she brings practical insights to her academic work. Prof. Goswami has previously served as faculty at IIM Rohtak, XIM University Bhubaneswar, SRM University Sikkim, and IEM Kolkata. Her research has been published in reputed journals (ABDC, Scopus indexed), and she has presented at international conferences such as AOM, BAM, EURAM, IAMOT, INDAM, and Pan-IIM WMC. She also serves as an ad hoc reviewer for selected ABDC-listed journals.

Prof. Bhasker obtained his Ph.D. and master’s degree in Computer Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, USA, and a Bachelor of Engineering from IIT Roorkee. He is currently the Director of IIM Ahmedabad. Previously, he served as Director of IIM Raipur (2017–2022) and held key leadership roles at IIM Lucknow and IIM Sirmaur. Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh is the Director of IIM Tiruchirappalli and has previously served as Director of MDI Gurgaon and Director In-charge at IIM Indore. With over three decades in academics, he has been a Professor of Organisational Behaviour and HRM at IIM Indore and faculty at multiple prestigious institutions. Professor Suresh K. Jakhar is a Professor in the Operations and Supply Chain Management area at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow. He holds academic degrees from IIT Delhi and IIT Roorkee, and has previously served at IIM Rohtak and SCMHRD Pune.

Prof. Priya Seetharaman is a Professor in the Management Information Systems (MIS) group at IIM Calcutta, with a fellowship in Management from IIM Calcutta, an M.Com from the University of Madras, and a B.A. in Corporate Secretaryship from Ethiraj College. She has over 17 years of academic experience, having served as Assistant and Associate Professor before her current role. Prof. Pradyumna Dash is a Professor of Economics at IIM Raipur and a Gold Medalist from Sambalpur University in MA Economics. He earned his Ph.D. from IIT Bombay and qualified the UGC-NET twice. Prior to IIM Raipur, he served as Assistant Professor at IIM Indore (2007–2012) and has taught economics courses at other IIMs. He participated in Harvard Business School’s Case Method and Case Writing Workshops. Prof. Badrinarayan Shankar Pawar

Professor, HRM & OB, IIM Raipur

Prof. Badrinarayan Shankar Pawar is a Professor at IIM Raipur with over two decades of teaching and research experience, including 14 years at Indian Institutes of Management and 4 years at City University of Hong Kong. He earned his Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University in 1996 with a perfect GPA of 4.0 and was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi for outstanding academic performance. His research spans organizational citizenship behavior, transformational leadership, and workplace spirituality, with over 3,485 citations, including 1,670 for single-authored work on workplace spirituality. Dr. Saroj Kumar Pani is a Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship and Dean (Academics) at IIM Raipur. M. Srinivas Rao Mahankali (MSR) is the former CEO of T-Hub, Hyderabad (2021–2024), where he led one of India’s top innovation ecosystems supporting 3,500+ startups. He co-founded Aujas, a cybersecurity firm acquired by NSEIT, and served on the board of Network Solutions (acquired by IBM).
